    Awesome and I especially love how when you look at the picture without zooming into much the eye looks like it’s an X just like from the cartoon days! (at least from my phone)

    9mm whopper!

    So I forgot to post this a month or so ago but I went back and found the skull from this giant hog I shot back in January. The inside edge of the lower teeth are like razor blades. It’s almost completely consumed by larvae.

    First group of the year

    I’ve shot a few singles so far this year but this is the first group of hogs I’ve seen. These were in a field that had not been planted yet, and I think they were eating volunteer rye grass. it’s hard to see it in the video, but the third hog I shot did about 3 cartwheels which brought a big...

    1st hog with the 350 Legend

    Is that a permanent light or do you flip it on to shoot? I used to leave these homemade conduit tripods at each of my feeders locations and would carry in a small but powerful homemade hog red led feeder light that I would put on top of the 15’ tripod. Everything was powered with a 12v deer...

    THERMAL . . WARM - - -> EXTREME COLD . . ??

    I’ve noticed on mine when I pull it out of a warm vehicle and have it on for any length of time when it’s cold outside the image degrades quickly but other than that no real issues. still works. It’s just not as pretty.

    No More Varmageddon For Me

    I’ve been meaning to put this up which is where I have come up with my opinion of varmint bullets being more suitable as bigger game bullets when fired from rifles with lower muzzle velocity’s. I didn’t dream that concept up on my own, I read it in my Sierra reloading manual along time ago and...

    No More Varmageddon For Me

    I found an older picture of the flatten bullet from my 300 blackout 10 inch SBR with muzzle velocity of 2000 ft./s. This is a bullet that traveled from the brisket all the way to the memory gland of a doe I shot one time. This bullet was more flattened looking than anything else and going from...

    No More Varmageddon For Me

    I’m kind of thinking my bullet in particular works as well as it does is because (only my assumption) it may be intended for 308/30-06 size cartridges that typically have much higher starting velocity. Whatever it is, it works well for me.
