Killed this pig in an open field that had a bunch of deer in it. I usually don't see pigs and deer that close to each other. He was very skinny but had Dumbo ears and warthog looking cutters.

This guy was in the same field that my last two big boars were killed in. It was a crazy hunt. He was coming in and then got spooked. He took off at a trot back toward the wood line. Finally got him to drop right before he got in the woods.

This boar was already in the field when I showed up. Had a short stalk while he was busy tearing up the ground. Shot him at 50 yards. He taped at 46".

Killed one with a small white patch.

Buddy of mine finished this European mount for me.

Wish I would have known the tape estimate hog weight method when I killed this guy. He is one of the biggest I have killed.

This is great info! I have never weighed a pig but have killed a few big boars that I wondered what they would weigh. I can't wait to give this method of estimating a try.
