2015 Meet and Greet

Great, I will bring some AR500 targets with me for y'all to shoot Saturday.

I'm making a pot of pork & pork & pork beans tomorrow but I can't decide to bring em tomorrow or Saturday??
Was going to do some stuffed japs on Sat too TLM loves em.
Y'all want some beans around the fire pit or save em, y'alls call.
I'll check in tomorrow.

The wife and I will be there Saturday around mid day. We will bring some of our home grown eggs if chopperdrvr hasn't already bought some for Sunday morning.

I'll be there tonight somewhere between 8-10pm.

Reminds of the movie you call that a knife pulls out a big a-- knife as says this is a real knife. Should work. So are you guys having a carving contest to see who can carve a boar the fastest? One of these days I will join you sounds like so much fun.

Nobody is sure who started that one yet. I'll be driving right by it on the way up today. Kind of funny though, had I not hurt my back 2 weeks ago I would be out fighting that thing right now instead of going to the meet and greet...

From one who's back is just a mess after 5 surgeries I get it. Went sailing out of a truck at 65 mph. Went out the passenger window and I was driving. Doc said you should be dead. While glad I fooled him. Now paying the price.

If anybody is up & not to toxificated I need the thermal army over here pronto.
Me n momma pulled in & had a couple sows chowwing down on a doe fawn at the tank damn 20' in front of the truck.
She videoed I-potato, while I did a double on those evil bitches with the 45-70.
Had yotes 30-40 yds down at base of tank wanting their turn or kill back.
Tried to call Todd & Rick, sent the video to Todd.
I know its late but this aggression will not stand man.

My back all of a sudden quit hurting hehe.
I'm going out.

I'm sleepy I guess, the tank m-60 flew over my head ha-ha.
The guys at the shindig were giving me a hard time about all my large calibers (375H&H and lots of .458's) mabey that's it?

I blood trailed the 2 sows for a ways thru the thick crap for a while with no recovery, that's odd as hell, I know I hit the first one good you could see the dust in the video, second shot was a far back but shot but to take 2 300grn Barnes tripple shocks & not go down has me scratching my head??
I wasted enough time looking for them, I wanted more payback, hopefully from the yotes so I drug the fawn carcas around on the golf cart to spread the scent, no luck on the yotes.
I did get a 41" boar at 110yds sitting in a new tripod I set up the other day.
I was using 2 of my old Texasboars feederlights, 2 Sendero's.
The tripod I setup in the middle of 4 good sized oaks, nice & tight in there, I actually had to assemble it INside the trees.
The only problem I thought I would have with this setup is the one he posed on me tonight.
He kept going back & forth behind the tree trying to skirt the lights, I won.
Took this one with a 30-06, Nikon 2.5x10x50 BDC, 130gr Barnes TSX going about 3100fps.
I'll get momma to help me load the video & some pics tomorrow, its been so long since I posted a video I used tape
Ill get the dogs to help find the sows in the daylight, they don't want anything to do with one once they find it but they love the challenge.

On snap I get it now '"tank" ha-ha, that's what we call a pond or small man made lake here in Texas.
