    Ah...compares to other thermal hunting optics.
    Does the 100mm optic make the scope unwieldy and make your rifle feel ergonomically unbalanced? Does the 100mm optic offer better discrimination than than say a 75mm optic?

    Bigger the optic, the better. So yes to your second question, in a sense. You can go in to long discussions about lenses, how they work and how the data is used. When got I my pro I was surprised that it seemed smaller than what I had imagined.

    This unit is great for longer ranges, but is a little too much for the close in stuff.
