What traps work best?

Any advice on what traps work best on piglets to 100 punders? I have box traps and modified #4 wolf trap snare but the little ones keep either triggering the snare and getting loose or not able to trip the pressure plate in the box traps.

Box traps with swing doors are the easiest and most consistent I would say. My first year trapping I caught close to 300 hogs this way. Guillotine doors with pressure plates have their place, mostly with small critter traps not great for hog size traps. I built 3 lightweight traps today, easy to move, swing doors, simple but effective. Nothing works perfect every time but if you fine tune your setup you can get good at it.
