Ok,
Just to set the record straight.
A buzzard is actually an old world hawk in England that is about the size and color of a red tail hawk.

A vulture is a bird that is a new world bird that eats carrion. And the pic in the link earlier from buzzard beat.com or what ever looks more like a condor.
In Texas the turkey vulture, with a red head, and black vulture are common.
I was thinking a color morph of a buzzard also, where the skin is a lighter color. But typically a color morph bird is different colored feathers.
On my phone it was hard to see very well.

We have always just called all them buzzards. Kinda like calling all soft drinks cokes or all tissues kleenex.

You are the resident bird guy. I was hoping you could positively ID this creature.

I think I am just gonna have to shoot it and find out for certain. If a long time goes by and I dont post anything then you know the demon monkey bird won.
