I would hold off on either of the used Pulsars. Sightmark Photon RT or Sightmark Wraith (if you can find one) would be better options. The Photon would be a bit better than the Pulsars and be brand new for that money. The Wraith would be even better.

I got a chance to work with a buddy's ATN X-Sight II which would also be in your price range. The scope had a great daylight image, but had noticeable image lag. All electronic scopes have some image lag to them. The good ones have so little that you don't see it. In daylight mode on the ATN, you could not miss it. With the night mode, it was PRONOUNCED. I would not get an ATN for this reason. Also, the ATN illuminator would never turn off completely, which I found bothersome. With that said, the ATN zeroed fine and worked fine on stationary targets, but hogs and such are rarely stationary targets, particularly after the shooting starts.

Ok I will buy the wraith I found a few places with them in stock. I was hoping to get audio recording though. Thanks for the help guys I asked on another forum and they basically said if you dont have 5k+ to buy the ultimate tacticool teir 1 operator thermal dont buy anything and that "anyone operating in my AO would spot my illumination making me an easy target" WTF I'm trying to hunt hogs not people
