trijicon IR Hunter mk3 60 as a clip on ?

has anyone tried this ? I just received my upgraded mk3 60 and was going to try it out as a clip on in front of day optic .

Got a clip on Armasight, if I had it to do over again i'd go with a dedicated
Scope.

With the D-loc scope mount, the IR Hunter ought to return to zero really well. With a Larue Tactical or Bobro QD mount, your day optic ought to also return to zero really well.

Clip-ons are really not the best of both worlds, as Fla_dogman was sort of saying. Two scopes means double the chances of getting something wrong. As he said, a dedicated scope is really the way to go.
