Other than a corn feeder what are y'all using as bait I ferment corn, milo and oats and it works wonders if you can stomach the smell

I use a trough on the ground also and toss all sorts of thing in it, table scraps, bread, dog food, horse sweet feed, spoiled produce...

What kind of volume do you need to purchase in order to save money? Corn or milo or oats or whatever.

By the sack it adds up quick. By the ton? Pallet? How do pig farmers buy their pig food?

by the tons at a co-op. For the little guys like us 55gal plastic barrels, it is poured directly into the barrels in the back of your truck or trailer, or you have an enclosed trailer for it to service all your feeders.

depends on your co-op, it will be different at every one of them...you have to call, you get about 350lb in a barrel.

$7.50 PER 50LB SACK is $300.00 per ton
7.00 per/50 is $280.00 per ton
$11.50 a hundred is $230.00 per ton

I would like to get it lower.
(we are talking corn here)

Like I said your region may be more or less, you have to call and see, it is what it is. Don't forget it takes diesel to harvest and haul, there is no more $200 a ton unless you buy from the farmer in his field.
