Three generations in the field

I had the opportunity to take my dad and my son hunting this week...it was hot, humid and the mosquitos were miserable, but everyone had a great time. We managed to find some pigs to knock down too.

My dad dropped this one in its tracks with a head shot @ 115 yds. It was his first thermal hunt and the Reap-IR did not disappoint.

Hopefully more to come this weekend...

Man that's what it's all about. I cannot wait to take my dad down here when they come for the winter. Actually might get him down to the lowcountry of SC this summer.

We went back out Saturday afternoon and found the pigs over two different hand corned areas. Most of our hunting action the past year has been at night, but the past month we have seen lots of daytime activity, even with the high temps. When the sounder showed up, I dropped the adult sow first. 8-10 piglets scattered, then returned within 5 minutes. Then I managed to take out three of the piglets.
