Subsonic Reloads?

Is there such a thing as reloading a round to make it subsonic?

Yes! Bullets traveling under sound barrier are sub sonic.

I reload subsonic .308 it's quiet but I do not recommend it for hunting, shot placement is extreamly critical. I'll look up my loads tonight.

Yep!!! Unless you are using Leigh High Defense or Outlaw State Bullets designed to expand at subsonic speed. I would listen above. Even then. I saw a guy shot a hog subsonic with Leigh High bullet and it ran 100+ yards.
