SoCal Newbie

New to hunting as I'm from SoCal, spent 4.5 years in the Army in the Reconnaissance field, currently working in LE (collateral duty as a FLETC certified firearms instructor.) I was able to transfer "flee" out of CA and move here back in 2016. Looking at hunting with my Gen 3 PVS-14 with a Class 3b IR laser out of a 5.56 platform "not suppressed." Currently residing around Temple, if you know of any places around to hunt or advice, please chime in.
