SlayerBeall's 1st Ground Hunt

For the last three years, SlayerBeall has been hunting from elevated stands (per mom). Now the green light has been given and Dave took us out to hunt. He is very patient and for the most part, this was her hunt, Dave and I serving alternately as spotters and range safety guys. Unfortunately, we didn't get on as many animals as we had hoped, but it was still a good night and SlayerBeall had a lot of new experiences...seeing animals up close from ground level and using shooting sticks.

Very nice! Interesting to also see the stalks that didn't work out. We all have those.

Still, a half dozen hogs including some with piglets in the making is a darn good score.
