Single Boar, Son helping out

The pigs have been absent for a couple of days following my first three days of success, that is pretty standard around here. This morning just before dawn I spied a solo boar transiting the field next door. Threw on some shoes and waited by a bale of hay as he just walked towards me. Single shot, curley shuffle follows.

My youngest made his first solo plane trip to join me for a couple of days in OK. His Papa got him a .17 HMR Golden boy awhile back and he likes getting rid of the Armadillos out here.

Thanks guys. Not sure what has done more damage over the past 6 months, the hogs or the armadillos.
That .17 HMR does a number on the armadillos.
