QD is on the handguard, the QD at the tail of the tube can't be reached now (with the brace installed).

I understand what you have, I was relating my rig's layout.

I guess my point was supposed to be, you could simply put a QD there too, make it easier?

Now this is really interesting as in the vertical fore grip, look at the weapon and read the ATF letter.

mine is 26.5"

I am looking at a 10.5" barrel so I will be over 26" and use a VFG. On it's a firearm, off it's a pistol. I am not sure if it's that easy to go back and forth.
