Finally got to shoot the 6.8 at some pigs. I let one of my son's friends shoot the first two and
I shot the last one. The shooter in the first two clips was using my Caldwell Magnum Deadshot for a prop.
He didn't know how to adjust the tension on the rotating part. It was too tight and he kept
working it back and forth. I guess i'll have to check that from now on. The third clip was really quick.
The pig ran out of the high grass before I knew what happened. Just managed to get the scope and recorder on before the shot. The 6.8 definitely puts the smack down. Might be a smidgen louder than the BO.
I like it so far.

So much more power and ability w the 6.8 and lots more selection of factory ammo or reloading options..what ammo were you using?? Nice shooting!

The Hornady custom 120 SST. They seem to group close to an inch @ 100.
Let's just say they shoot better than I can.

They are excellent, I use a variety of 6.8 factory ammo and the 120SST is one of them.
