I don't know what's up but I'm seeing hogs almost every time I go out now days. Also seeing some before dark. I'd only been on site about an hour before sunset when I heard these at my feeder tube. I was able to close in to just over 100yds in the daylight. Shooting 120 ssts in 6.8 and as you see she quartered away from me just as I was pulling the trigger. Bullet entered the left side ribcage and proceeded forward to the vitals. Nice 75lb sow. This is my third kill this week!

I'm seeing a lot more activity too. Been out to my property several times in the past month and have seen hogs each trip. I hear there is a time of year where they are more active (January/February). Seems to be true based on the activity I've encountered lately.

    Nice shootin’, Tex!

I hunt in similar terrain, and you gotta make that first one count. Usually don’t get another.
