I moved a motion activated green light to a feeder I haven’t hunted at night for a while. Just after dark this 150 lbs sow came in to the feeder. The shot was 125 yards. Illuminated reticle scope is a must. I busted both her front shoulders with one round of 120gr SST from my 6.8 SPC. She didn’t go anywhere. I hunted both Friday and Saturday and got a hog each night. That makes for a good weekend! 46929E7F-BA02-452B-9B1B-5DD53CBC998E.jpeg EFD51EB3-99F8-4318-9C2C-1702024C731E.jpeg

Good sow down! Kind of has razorback traits with that snout

Bangin' one a day is hard to beat. Congrats on the night shooting.

When I was using a scopelight, I also had an illuminated red reticle. It was a fairly cheap one, and found it was difficult to use. Had to squint at low level and blinded me when bright.

It did beat shooting at a black hog with black crosshairs, though. Barely.
