Why not build the same chambered in 6.8SPC for alot less money.
More power, flatter shooting, easier to load for, more choice of both loaded ammo and bullets. --- pruhdlr

It's different...so depending on your personal taste it might be pretty cool. I'm not sure you're going to get a complete powder burn in a 9.5" barrel with the 350L though = trajectory of throwing rocks. If you are hunting timber or short shooting lanes that's no big deal...but if you are trying to guess range to a 150 yard pig and you're off 25 percent in the pitch black then that's a wounded or missed animal entirely.

The other downside is that the bullet construction may not lend to low-velocity expansion...coupled with significantly reduced energy.

I don't want to discourage. You could always be the first to rack up a bunch of kills with an AR pistol in the 350L. It's just that there are more efficient ways to put pork on the ground.

I liked the appeal of the price point and a gun of that size you can readily purchase ready to go. Im a big fan of 30-30 and have killed more animals in general with it than any other I own. The reality is 99.9% of my night shots are less than 100yds, with a vast majority being in the 75yd range. I don't really need a bullet flying around out there past that. I know there are other calibers out there that can do the same but was not aware of a full meal deal package like this. Im open if any one knows of another gun that would hit all those also.

You know where there are AR pistols like that in 6.8 for less that $800? I have a 6.8 now but its a larger gun that is a little bulky for walking too much.

I have killed MANY hogs with my 10.5" 6.8SPC. The upper is from Yankee Hill. I have had it for about 7 years now and cannot remember the cost.
I put it on a Bushmaster lower with a AR Gold trigger pack. At 50yds it will put 5 into a .345" group with a daylight scope. Using my thermal it will group 5 into a .585" group at 50 yds.
I shoot the 120gr Hornady SST factory load out of it. Have made numerous 1 shot kills including this guy. He was scaled at 268lbs. --- pruhdlr IMG_20141122_021040_133.jpg SANY0064.JPG

Not to poo-poo the 350 . . . BUT . . . my hunting buddy who has been shooting and reloading for the 350L for about a year, quickly discovered that the .355" (9mm) bullets shoot much better than the .357" bullets. You choices of these bullets are extremely limited. And will they preform correctly,at the vels produced by the 350L,on game animals ??
With meticulous reloading,he is still failing to get acceptable (for him 1-1.25" MOA).
I have been holding off buying an upper to see what he comes up with.
His upper has 600 rds thru it. --- pruhdlr

Is that considered a pistol or do you have a stamp or is that?

After reading around I cant just start slapping my AR lowers on the pistol upper so I need to be sure what I am buying.

My ************** upper is a tack driver @ 100, no doubt.
