Perhaps I missed them,or if I didn't, is there a section for favorite recipes? I realize that the net is full of recipes, but with all the energy expended in taking hogs out, has anyone have particularly favorite recipes for sausage, jerky, roasts, whathaveyou. Or are they closely held family secrets that if revealed, will restart the Mason-Dixon wars? I personally haven't had a chance to get out and get a hog yet, but I always look for new and interesting recipes for what I eat. Thanks all!!

I've listed a few wild hog recipes I got off the net a couple months back. But I have not tried them. I've cooked them on the grill but my all time favorite wild pork has been slow smoked!

+1000 to that TLM.
Right from the pig to the smoker, that rear leg shank was freakin tasty after 12 hour smoke!!
Anybody have a good way of removing hair from a pig part?
Burning it seems to be the best most efficient way.

I skin mine, then smoke, wife does not like heavy smoke so I put on there for 4 hrs then another 4 hrs in a turkey roaster and perfect for us!
