Really bad toothache

I was examining the remains of a boar that I shot last Thursday night and found something quite interesting. This poor guy had evidently taken what I judge to be .22 cal bullet in the middle of his lower right jaw. It had healed remarkably well but you can still see the damage clearly. Anyway he is no longer feeling any pain.

Wow, that is really horrific. There was definite infection and it looks like abscessing with extensive remodeling. Cool.

Same thing with this one. Made a cool skull mount. Shot him with my bow many years ago. Watching him eat was something else but he was a survivor. Healthy when I killed him but could only eat on the left side of his mouth. Right side was one large barnacle type growth.
