I can't remember exactly how it went but I'm sure you guys will understand what happened. What makes it even more embarrassing is that I knew what this guy told me but I just didn't realize it's implications. This is a Mega build with *** barrel 6.8, reloaded 110gr.

Started all over again at 25 yards, zeroed it in, went to 50 yards and it was WAY high again!!!! Was about ready to sell it on the spot Loaded it in case to head home and put it back in the safe - stick to my TC Encore 30-06!

Range went cold and I was crying the blues to the guy next to me and he very calmly said, "of course it is, the bullet is still climbing". DDDDAAAANNNNGGGG! Then he started talking about MOA blah blah 100 yards all that good stuff and I just hung my head and thanked him.

Went to range yesterday, zeroed it at 100yds, and heading to hunting lease on Monday for last 2 weeks of season.

(BTW, before I forget, my son in law is ordering a *** barrel and bolt carrier group but the bcg is out of stock. What would be a good alternative?)

yikes...well a lesson that will not soon be forgotten. 25yds to get on paper, anywhere, 50 yrds to get a kill 1-2"low, 100 yds to confirm POI

Good to hear you got it resolved. *** barrels rock!

Now... try this on for size... a 50 yd zero should impact about 1.5" high at 100 yd and be zero again at around 200 yd.

Blackstone Arms has *** barreled uppers in stock. Give Eric a holler and see what he can do for ya.
