Excellent! Thankyou! The only difference is native magnification if you hunt thick areas then the 38 will be better if you hunt more open country the 50 will be better.

The XQ38 is going to be your best bet that is close to price you qouted. Not only will it have the best image but also the best features like one shot zero, battery, pixel repair, on board recording, and definitely the better customer service if you ever do have an issue.
The main drawback to pulsar right now is supply they are always on backorder. Optics planet list them on sale but most of the time they are backordered for a long time.
I will have my first shipment of PULSAR scopes in the next week or two. I have not publicly announced this but I am retiring from law enforcement and opening my own online store. It will start with night vision and thermal, and will carry all major brands. My goal is to provide what most do not. Real world expertise with all the brands in hunting environments. There are a few stores that use the units in the field, but 99% have not used them to the extent I have, and most have no clue how they really work in the field.
All other night vision and thermal stores are being removed as vendors from Lone Star Boars along with anyone pushing products for non vendors here. This may be why some others have not chimed in on this thread they are employed by stores that are not vendors or vendors that have been removed.
I will make an official announcement across all my forums, and social media platforms including this one in the coming days/weeks. But figured I would give y'all heads up since it all started here.
Pigs were around 50yds in the videos I posted.how far where those hogs in the videos? The image was great!
Night Vision Guys has been gone for a few weeks.Dropping Bombs TLM! No more Night Vision Guys then?
Web site is being developed now soon as it' ready I'll post it.Yep, Congrats, I'll buy my next thermal from you.
Do you have a URL for your store? when you you be selling?

My Leupold vx3 is 6.4m @ 100m on low1 degree of angle at 1000 yds is just a little over 52' 4" (or 52.36') wide, if that helps.
1 degree of angle at 100 yds is 5' 3" (or 5.236')
If my numbers are correct thats sweet! Im using a clip on nv now on that scope and keep it at 4.5 to 6 depending on distance so if i can get the 50 at 3x and a wider fov i think it should be deadly. I was liking the $ save of the 38 but........Appears so
i think the Pulsar XQ50 will suit my needs. Where i hunt i do not have many open fields or large groups of hogs, most are 6 to 8. I have some long lanes that are about 600yds but I put a corn pile at 100 for night shooting. My farthest night shot with my NV was 218yds and i feel the xq will do that distance just fine.MattG1500 Im in the same boat. Ive been watching Todds vids from 68f for years and got the bug then for a night device. Bump me with what you come up with and I may be interested too; Im in SEPA....great hog huntin in center city!
