Does anyone know what buffer spring I should run in this thing ? I was wondering about it.

Just swap top ends and have fun. Mine came with a heavier spring and I have never used it. 100% function.

I'd assume he means just swap the upper receivers. You can go from 5.56 to .458 in 30 seconds or so, if you needed.

I understood him.. ;)

And per a discussion I had with my father yesterday while using the term "swap uppers" it confused him. He couldn't understand how just swapping a 5.56 upper for a .458 upper would allow the projectiles to work, until I told him I was referring to "barreled uppers.."

Yup, 458 designed to just swap out top ends/uppers. Lower stays the same as the 556. People get in trouble when they start trying to run heavy springs or buffers.

I got the lower and the kit from Palmetto State Armory, now Im just waiting on the upper. Got the scope mount and Im gonna borrow a Leupold scope from a buddy of mine to see if I like it.
