No hogs but deer everywhere

Can't wait till rifle season. Shot this 8 pointer in the same spot last year with my 6.8 SBR using Hornaday 110 BTHP match.

We have been seeing more in deep south Texas too. Last night I saw more on my Starr County spotlight line than I have in quite a few years. I have 5 more survey lines to go in 4 more counties so I'll get to see if it holds true for those counties as well.

I have neither. Lost my hunting spot and now I'm scrambling to find a new one by deer season or it's wma hunting for me this year

Luckily we have no hogs on the ranch I live on. There are plenty on the areas around us though. My problem is just finding the time to get out and try to hunt them. Well be nice when deer season begins though. MLD season begins the end of September in Texas and I'll be able to wake up early, go hunt, and come next to eat breakfast on my own house. Can you say spoiled?!
