I took this nice boar right at dark with the HAMR. One road of the 150gr SST and he dropped in his tracks! The one picture is of the green light on the feeder and the moon.
I really like mine. I was only able to afford an upper when Bill Wilson offered a special on another forum. I believe it was 25% off back then.
Been loving this chambering for quite some time now. And I have been a big fan of the 6.8SPC. I actually own three of them. Would like to own a HAM'r. --- pruhdlr
Both the 6.8 and the HAM’R work perfect for the hunting We do. The wife and I have hunted for years with the 6.8 with great results. I do like the availability of larger bullets with the HAM’R. 6.8 we use 115 and 120 grain and with the HAM’R I use 135 and 150 grain bullets. Both calibers are great!
Wondering what the velocity difference is between a 6.8SPC and a HAMR shooting a Barnes (or other) 110gr bullet ?? --- pruhdlr
