Newb from Allen, TX

Went out a couple of weeks ago to Lake Lavon, north of 380; took my 870. Have been looking for a place for a long time. When I do get a hog, not sure what to do with it haha. But I went out and saw a bunch of sign, just no lil piggies. Went out right at sunrise to about 11am.

Ready to continue to learn and this site has lots of great info!

Welcome! I used to go shoot clay pigeons as a kid on lake lavon. Right now you may see the hogs any time of day. Once it gets hot they will be mostly nocturnal. You may find them at the waters edge during the day though!
