New to Mills County TX

Got here in September ... that makes 6 months of residency ... whoo hoo! I can now buy my Texas resident hunting license.

I'm a pastor in a small town church and was called here from South Carolina. I see many names I recognize from the 68forum here ... I'm MCA over there.

Hogs are not all that plentiful in my immediate area - but I hear they are not too far away. So far I've only seen two ... each about 8 or 10 miles in different directions away from the house. Deer are thick like cockroaches though ... I'll be happy to not miss another hunting season!

Unfortunately the day you were looking at (the 18th of Oct, right?) is the weekend of the 125th anniversary of the congregation I'm the pastor of. That's a big event weekend - so I need to be here in Priddy.
