New mold from accurate molds

This guy does amazing work. He posts a 7 week lead time but I got both mine in under a month. Here’s my first castings with my new mold for my 458 socom

I need to reload. Wait time on 458 socom ammo has been sloooow. Those look good.

 

i only have about 200 pieces of 458 socom brass. I’m considering giving in and paying crazy prices to get that up to about 500 pieces

 

So I have the 525’s finished up. These are a replacement for the beartooth bullets 525gr pile drivers. I’m assuming being a hard cast, the beartooth bullet is a lot harder than mine. Here’s a comparison

 

Loaded up 1 test round to see how it looks. I’ll load a couple more and shoot and check for pressure signs. Then step it up a bit

 

Me thinks, some Sus have need of wedding-mint-green injections for their rank smelling selves. Go forth and inject.
