Very Nice! How does that compare to the 6.8 in real world results?

It's a similar concept to the .300WTF. It's a 5.56 case with a 6.8 (.277) bullet. Mark (MDWS=Mad Dog Weapons Systems) is the developer of it. He got started with it on 68forums. After launching, he has his own forum for it now. It looks quite promising with both sub/supersonic. Mark's approach has been quite positive, in that he's just presented it, and allowing it to stand on its own merits... very unlike the dweeb behind the .300WTF.

Mark joined here as a member, but hasn't been real active ("MDWS").

Posted numbers that I've seen from others using 90gr Gold Dots with Max Loads:

25.3 gr of 2200= 2575
23.9gr of 1680= 2740
21.6gr of 5744= 2791

Mark is a good guy and has answered all my questions.

You can pre-order dies via MDWS which is what I did. In the interim, I ordered brass from JBs Firearms and used my 6.8 seater (can use a .270 too) to seat the bullets.
