My 2nd largest Boar

Started working for a company a few weeks ago so finally getting out to hunt again.
Hit this big boar, over 250#, thing was like 6' long. He was about 150 yds out in a field pushing everyone around and chasing the ladies. I decided to shoot him in the shoulder/neck area because of the distance and he wouldn't stop moving. First shot solid thud, hogs running everywhere, hit another then he was still running right at me. Missed him a couple times then at 30 yds and 100 mph managed 1 in the chest that dumped him for good. Then I shot from the hip on a little guy that was just feet away and hit him a few times and piled up. Pretty fun evening!

I suppose that is one of the things that makes them fun, not dangerous like a grizzly but enough to keep you on your heels.

Yessir... it's tough to keep your feet planted and keep shooting when a big hog is moving your direction at a high rate of speed!
