I’ve got some college buddies and my brother-in-law coming to kills some hogs. All are vets and experienced hunters, I am not. I want to make sure we have a great time and get us some hogs so if you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Never ever hunt where there are no hogs. You will be waisting your time.
Hunt during the nightime hours. They will see you coming across the field in the daytime.
Always use a firearm. They are hard to kill with a stick or a rock.
Have a good hunt. --- pruhdlr

Consider a hunting service that has the land, hogs and necessary thermal, Night vision and technical support.

From previous emails, Dry Creek Outfitters was highly recommended. Check this forum for previous discussions on them.

The cost per hunt charged is very reasonable when you figure the weapons, thermals, land and guide involved.

Hope you enjoy your hunt.
