Yeah, I was just messin with ya, the 6.8 with an eotech or a 1-4 power scope on it would work great for what your needing!

Once I find a barrel and bolt I can get to building. Hardest part will be saving up for an eotech. Then I have to decide what i want to do, if anything, about night vision. A head mount would be ok but ill have to start researching options

Wassman is correct. 6.8 performs great with a 12.5" barrel and its shorter/lighter to boot.

There is what 50FPS per inch?? all I know is I sighted my pistiol on at 50 ir returns to 0 at 125 and is .8 low at 150, that is all I need it for and the shorter barrel is perfect for me.

I thought H has some 12.5s in the works as well. To be honest though I am having trouble keeping up with all of his projects! He will soon be chambering the 6mm BRX (darn I wanted the easier to reload BR) + a handful of weeks to get them treated.

Another hard one when wanting a 1 setup does it all. Guess it depends on if you're going to run NV sometime. No NV I'd say ACOG, love mine. They are extremely durable, fast and 4x. If you plan on NV in the future I'd go with EOTech. As TML said light, fast and compact.

I love my ACOG as well,extremely adaptive to,range and close up. Sight picture is very fast
