Just for the sake of having/owning one... I'd probably snatch it up. First one of those I've even seen.

Andre, do not hesitate. This is a very fine rifle and for the distances you are shooting will do you a fine job. I have owned and shot a Browning blr chambered in .243 Winchester and can tell you they are top quality and for a lever action rifle are very accurate. The rotating bolt design in these rifles is extremely strong and handles the high pressure rounds like the .30-06 with no problem.
