I'm interested in hearing your tale of things you've witnessed, which you have no explanation for. Camping, hunting, fishing, driving along... have a tale? Share it. Mine... About 10 years ago, I went on a weekend camping trip with a friend of mine. He's an avid fly fisherman, and our plan was to drown some flies and see what we could conjure up from beneath the surface of the river. We were east of Seattle, in the Cascade Mountains, in the Snoqualmie National Forest. We'd found a quiet camp ground, which had only a few campers (off season). We set up camp, had our dinner, and night was falling. There were no clouds, only a light breeze, no bugs, and cool enough to have a hoodie on. Perfect weather. Later in the early evening, we noticed an orb of light, clearly visible between the tops of two trees. It was not the moon (that was elsewhere in the sky). Again, we were in the forest, there were no light poles. The light was no "distant star". And, it remained stationary. Hours later, it had not moved in the sky (at all). This was no satellite, no star. There was no explanation for what we were seeing. It remained stationary between the same two tree tops, for hours... the next night, it was not there. There were no odd tales for us to attach to this (abductions, etc.), just a large orb of light which was smaller in size (to the naked eye) than the moon. It was much larger than how stars appear to the naked eye, and hung in place as though it were a light mounted on a pole. No strange sounds, just the sounds of the forest. The camping trip was most pleasant, we ate fresh fish for dinner, and remained curious over what we'd witnessed in the sky. What has left you wondering what you've seen, or wary of telling?
