I would kinda like mine to be a little fresher!! Hard to eat the stuffing out of that one I think.

He was taken on the last day of rifle season and not bad for a free range Buck.

My buddy allows me to hunt on his property (goat farm) in Stonewall under the condition that any Buck with 8 points or larger must be mounted.

I can live with that rule ;)

My cousin Joe just returned from Montana. Took one of his daughters and his grandson... they got skunked. He's bewildered as to why there's such a drop in the deer population suddenly. I'm wondering... more wolves and/or cougars?

That's a great mount. No deer hunting for me this year, I gave up my Illinois hunting to come to Texas for deer/pig hunting, then the guy that owns the land near Dinero sold it.

Great buck and especially for a free range one in Stonewall. I hunted that area for years and never saw anything like that.

yes FL deer are mismanaged and the genetics are bad.
