landowner called and introduced me to some new pigs, so i held my own version of meet and greet. spotted these hogs near the center of a half mile pivot on peanuts. by the time i got close, they had moved down the line forcing me back to the truck to circle around. i wish they had been on the wet side so i could sneak up close. now the wind only left me one choice. the farther i got the more i thought about fish hooking around them to get the pivot at my back. one hog in particular just wouldn't stay still and finally cut my stalk short. i'm still calling the party a success even though most had to leave early. after all, today is a workday.
