Just retired from the Marine Corps, and moved out onto the family ranch. As luck would have it, I got back here right in time to have to deal with three sounders that moved in on the property and are tearing up about a half-acre a night combined.
Purchased my first thermal optic (Pulsar Trail XP38) a week ago, and have put down two boars and one sow, with missing another sounder that I spooked trying to get into too close.
Since I have spent a lot of time on here researching hog hunting over the past week, I thought I'd join up and take a more active role in sharing my lessons learned. There is quite a curve at first that I'm trying to get through!
