just an FYI, Centerpoint energy just posted a job opening in electric distribution to become a lineman journeyman. Solid career path with lots of opportunity for advancement within the company. High school diploma or GED required. It's approximately a 4 year apprenticeship program. 6 figure career with awesome insurance and great benefits.
