Fresh batch of Mexican Match 7.62x39. Pulled the 123 grain bi-metal HPs and dumped all the powder. I weighed each of 40 charges and had a spread of up to a full grain. I averaged the loads and set my Lyman Digital Powder Dispenser @ 25.3 grains. The Lyman dispensed 35 loads before the powder level got too low to pick up. I emptied the dispenser and hand charged the last 5 rounds by measuring on the RCBS beam scale. It came out so close, there was only about a grain of powder left over. Seated in 123 grain Hornady SST's with a surprisingly consistent COAL. These loads are for one of my thermal rigs. The bi-metal HPs were a little too variable for trying to group on a thermal blob at 100 yds. They would have done the job on pigs but I felt I could tighten things up with these. Aim small, miss small.

LOL... Mexican match loads. Gotta love it.

I'll see your Aim Small, HIT small, and raise you a "Hit Often" added to it.

Good idea. I tried to just pull the original bullets and replace with SSTs and just doing that shrunk the group from about 2” to around 1”. Yours should do very well.
