My 177 will too, 1250FPS, same as a 22LR. I am really thinking of getting a new Gamo Whisper Pro 1650 and real quiet. There are air guns doing 4500FPS and up to 50 cal

If your passing 1050 fps your going to have a sonic crack. Not to mention the impact sound.

Yeah, that is why I go to the lead pellets, they are lower FPS only the aluminum are the fast ones. They do have a suppressor of sorts on them and the new Gamo has a double baffles..of course they don't call them suppressors.
