hogs and gals on ice

We hunted again today in the ice. Krista and Michelle agreed that if we saw a big buck Krista would shoot and if we saw a hog Michelle would shoot. Some small pigs came in and neither wanted to shoot them cuz they were babies. They hung around a while then left. After a bit they came back and it was getting colder and darker. So I tried to get Krista to shoot one on video, but she didn’t want to. Well while we were arguing a big one showed up. Krista made 102 yard shot with the 6.8 right to the head. Michelle got mad and said she wasn’t hunting with us anymore because she wanted to shoot a pig! My gals say all you guys that hunt in heated blinds are wussies!

Guilty, I have 3 blinds and a heater for each...LOL Way to go Krista!

it is very rare for us to use a blind or feeder. I hate them! Don't care if other sue them I just don't like it.

man I never sleep but I can set down under a tree for more than 15 minutes and I'm out. can't do it in a blind I'll fall outta my chair!

you know I am the same way...feel great but 30 min in the blind and my eyes are closed...LOL

that's why most of my hunting is done either by walking or calling. Well and the fact that I'm not a patient man!

Hahaha. I was in a butcher shop one day and they a picture of a hunter decked out in blaze orange passed out under a tree with a giant Buck nearly sticking his nose on him. You guys made me think if this picture.

I can sit/stand in a hang on tree stand, but put me in a blind with a heater and its lights out.

I fell asleep next to a tree behind the deer stand my friend was sitting in. I was about 5 feet behind the tree he was in when he went up the stand. After 15 minutes of sitting there I was out cold. Woke up 2 hours later to the sound of his gunshot

I fell to sleep once sitting on the ground and woke up with a rattler curled between my feet. Hit him with a broadhead and kept hunting.
