what is the best size people have found to throw on a spit? people say 30 or 40 pounds, some say 70 t0 to 100. im asking because im building a new fore pit with a removable rotisserie. I have always stuck with hogs around 50 pounds.
i found a setup that holds up to 250 pounds. i think im going to go with that. i was wondering more along the lines of taste. i know so many people say that the really large ones don't taste as good.
