Hog hunting near Dallas

I got a call about a job in Dallas from a recruiter. The first call went well, and I'm supposed to get a second call the week after next.

How is the hog hunting in the Dallas area? I haven't been to Texas in years, and I've got no idea how the hogs are dispersed throughout the state.

One of the local hospitals bought the practice I run on 9/1/16, and now, I hate getting out of bed in the morning and coming into work. My wife and I are looking around at other opportunities, but my next job will definitely involve moving. The opportunity in Dallas would be good, but it is too early to get excited about anything yet. Texas sounds like just as good of a place to move to as anywhere else I've thought of so far.

I went on an interview out in Washington State a few weeks ago. Pretty country, but no trees in that part of the state and no wild hogs for 1,000 miles. Hog hunting is one of my favorite hobbies, and if at all possible, I'd LOVE to be able to hog hunt where ever my career path takes me next.

I've personally killed several hundred less than five miles from the Dallas County line and know of several thousand more in the same area over the last five years....and they keep coming. Have seen more this year than I've seen in the last several years.
