Hard case for your thermal?

I think the way I will have my Pulsar set up is the following. I use irons during the day mostly especially when I'm just out working, filling feeders etc. Those shots are always inside 100 I just prefer irons for a quick snap shot. That said I'd like to keep my thermal in a hard case when I'm out there so I can put it on or use it as a handheld.

Is Pelican the only answer here? I store my 308AR in a soft case and would like to keep the scope separate especially since I run irons most of the time in the day.

Cabelas makes a knock off version that must be cheaper. And they are built like a tank.

I saw some decent knock off brands at Academy Sports earlier this week that were cheaper than Pelicans.

sorry can't help you. i toss mine in the bar ditch every night when i'm done so i won't lose it.

I keep mine on the gun (dedicated) and have several day guns to use at other times

I use a pelican 1120 for most of mine. Fits the reap and a zeus 42 real well. Not sure if it'll fit a trail when I get it. I kind of doubt it but we'll see.
