Golden Tile Fish

I have not eaten this fish before. My fish guy had some I tried tonight dang as good as grouper thick and meaty baked in oven 375 about 15 minutes with Thai sweet chili sauce lip smacking good.

Never heard of Golden Tile Fish. That's a new one to me.

Got hungry for some fish-n-chips today. Fish was GREAT (lightly breaded and seasoned)... but the fries SUCKED ! Bland, no seasoning, salt wouldn't adhere to them, and I got 75% "end bits" from the bottom of the bag. We'll see if the comment card gets a reply. LOL That, and a cup of chowder for $20 should be a little better than that on the lunch menu for a café.

Man I like some good fish and chips! Having to say away from fried food to keep,the Doc happy sucks not being able to eat what you want as you get older. I have learned to cook a lot of fish on a cedar plank on the grill yummy

Tonight is Halibut in red curry sauce. Recipe is easy and looks tasty

The halibut was great a little to hot for my wife but perfect for me.

Blue and Golden Tile is some of the best eating in the Gulf of Mexico. Have a friend that owns a fish house in Galveston which is very nice because I do not go offshore fishing anymore and when I get a craving for something special I can send the daughter down there and get fresh fish. BANG BANG FISH FISH!!

The fish house may have SCAMP as well, give it a try, I think its the best fish in the ocean.
