Finally got one this month

    This 100lb boar is the only hog I've gotten close to this whole month of November. I hear lots of them around but they just aren't interested in coming in to the corn feeders right now. Of course the broom weeds are so high I couldn't see them if they were 10 feet away. Luckily this feller stepped out into a small clearing about 15 yards away from where I was standing to take a bio break. I just had time to get zipped up and pick up the rifle.

    Glad you got one. I’m sure not seeing many. Very sporadic on my game cameras. Too many acorns I think. Any way that’s good shooting! Congratulations

    Yes, there is so much cover and acorns that they never need to leave the woods. Leaves are still hanging on too. And it's still raining!
