dying to kill

a buddy had been dying to kill a hog for months. his gun jams a bit and isn't very accurate. he needs quite a bit of moon to pull off a decent shot and even then they tend to spray everywhere. this time i let him shoot first to attempt a confirmed kill. i backed him up and couldn't believe when the hog dropped 65 yards away. i hoped he could take out the other one, especially since he didn't run, but i got too anxious at the amount of time he was taking. i got one in and he ran towards us, so i held fire hoping mikey would anchor him. he got off two shots before the gun jammed but no matter, porky had enough and toppled over 70 yards past the first one.
