Figured I would post here. Since the guys were having problems with popping out their Ultimate Night Vision MDVR SD card, I figured I would make a mount that is versatile, yet protects the card from accidently discharge lol.
The mount is angled up, it does not get in the way of any scope, yet keeps it high and out of the way so when shooting it doesn't interfere with anything.
The front part of the mount is machined out so that if you want to reverse the MDVR or anything you mount to it, you can plug in cables etc. I can even make dual mounting points so you can reverse the plate if you want in the opposite direction. You can even get creative with how you like the cable to plug in etc.
I was already using a similar mount, but wasn't Quick Release. Brian thought the QR mount would be good, easy to get on and off out in the field.
Forgot to add, most parts finished in black Cerakote, bake on.
