Coyote #2 from new property

I was asked to address a hog problem on this property, but to date, the hogs and I have yet to meet and aside from occasional tracks, they don't seem to be doing much new damage anymore. The coyotes, well, they are there in numbers. I saw three coyotes before this one. All three of those coyotes were in excess of 300 yards and across one or more fences. The closest was at about 300 yards and I started toward it, squeaked at it several times, but it passed through the area like it had somewhere to be and was not hungry.

This little girl came in closer and apparently was looking for a meal. Sorry for the shaky video. I ended up using a monopod for this hunt and I had a bit of difficulty getting my rifle settled for the shot.

I'm with Gshock....I think we get more drt's with hogs than coyotes.

Good shooting at 140+ yards on a monopod!

I'd agree with Dan - the coyotes are no where near as tough as the hogs!
